Adrean Terrace

Completed in 1941, this community consists of a combination of one, two, and three story brick and concrete buildings. One of the highlighted features of Adrean Terrace is the Community Center (Vega-Martinez Community Center) that offers something for everyone to enjoy, including a variety of activities for the whole family and many senior and youth programs.

Chancellor Apartments
417 Bleecker St, Utica, NY 13501Units per building93Bedrooms Per Unit1Chancellor Apartments is a state-funded Senior/Disabled development that features one-bedroom units. Completed in 1978, this development provides many special features and options for disabled and senior residents. The Chancellor Apartments feature a large community room with an atrium-like ceiling in the center of the building and balconies from each floor overlooking the beautiful center. Onsite laundry and elevators are available for tenant use. Another compelling feature is that this development is on a main bus route and is walkable to downtown and several popular Utica restaurants.

Duplex Homes / Scattered Sites

They are unique from our other family affordable housing options, in that they were designed to give a more single-family house feel, rather than a large building consisting of many units. Matt Apartments, constructed of wood frame, is another one of our subsidized housing options for families in an excellent location. It is conveniently located next to Proctor High School and the Mohawk Valley Community College, two beautiful, historic academic campuses in the City of Utica.
Within this development, there are nine, one and two-story apartments for rent. Another exciting feature is a state-of-the-art Play Area onsite for the children to enjoy.

Gillmore Village

This subsidized housing development offers apartments for rent featuring two-story wood frame and brick construction. Formerly the West Utica Boys Club, Hamilton St. has welcomed residents since 2007. In 2010, it became a Federally Subsidized Housing Development. People First is proud to offer Hamilton St. as a safe affordable housing option for our residents.
