It's hard to ignore how close the Warehouse @ 700 is to some of the best Utica spots for food, entertainment, and more.

Those who call Utica home know it’s a city rich in history and diverse cultures, making it a best-kept secret for food, sports, creativity, and entertainment. If you’re joining the waiting list for our new loft apartments at the Warehouse @ 700 Broad St., did you realize how close you’d be living to some unforgettable Utica experiences?

A Taste of Utica’s Dishes

We’re known for our Italian food, of course, and rather than take this whole blog post to debate the best spots, we’re happy to know (and share with you) the convenient fact that the loft apartments are around the corner to several renowned pizzerias and restaurants offering delicious and crispy slices, fresh Utica greens, warm tomato pie, and creamy chicken riggies that have some bite.

Utica is also known as a uniquely welcoming city and haven for newcomers from all parts of the world. The result? A city with growing cultural diversity shown, in one form, through the variety of downtown restaurants making authentic cuisine from the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and more.

Fun and Culture in the Heart of Utica

Downtown Utica has a growing cultural scene, offering theater performances, live music, and immersive attractions.

Built in the 1920s, the Stanley Theatre is a stunning example of Art Deco architecture and regularly hosts Broadway tours, concerts, stand-up comedy, and local theater productions.

Down the street from the Stanley is Munson (formerly "Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute"), which features works by European and American artists and a robust offering of contemporary pieces. The museum also hosts rotating exhibitions, film screenings, and performances throughout the year. It is also home to the prestigious Pratt Munson College of Art and Design.

Elsewhere, on main streets and roads, are a number of coffee shops and stages offering open mics and other opportunities to perform solo or with friends.

Can’t-Miss Sports and Live Events

The Warehouse is right down the road from the Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium. This venue offers a strong and thrilling rotation of entertainment and world-class sports, attracting athletes, talent, and fans from all over the globe. Take the family and enjoy a Utica Comets hockey game, a world championship, the rodeo, a WWE match, the circus, a band’s arena performance, and more.

Just a Taste of What’s to Come

While this is just a taste of things to do for residents living at the Warehouse @ 700 Broad Street, it’s also a reminder of how many worthwhile opportunities we have in our city to have fun, entertain, and engage.
